A NOTE FROM KEN:
I’ve been very proud of having one of the few open submission policies in our industry. Over the past few years, we’ve received thousands of scripts from passionate and dedicated writers like you.
When we opened our submission doors, we had no idea there were so many writers out there dreaming about getting their shows produced. And I think that’s awesome.
But, unfortunately, because we underestimated the number of scripts that would come in through our submission program, we’ve let those writers down by not being able to respond to them as fast as I think they deserve.
And I don’t like to let people down.
So, until we can catch up on the hundreds of scripts in our queue and come up with a better system to read and respond to writers faster, we are temporarily closing our open-submission program.
It’s not a permanent closing. We’re just closing for renovations. We hope to reopen in three months, and I urge you to check back to this page then to see if the status has changed.
In the meantime, if you are looking for my tips on how to self diagnosis your script before you submit it to me or to others, click here.
Thank you again for your interest in our submission program and for your dedication to your craft.
